The information we ask for is the minimum needed to offer you our services. We will not share it with any third-parties. If your account is removed so too is your data. After all, its only purpose was to help you advertise whatever it is you were offering.

Your data is held in a secure database that is also used to run the website. The server is located inside the United Kingdom.

Email privacy

You have the option to include an email address in your listing. If you do that it will be shown tot he public. You may maintain your privacy by leaving it out from a listing. We provide a contact form that visitors can use to respond to you and we will pass these enquires on to the email address you provided to create your account.

Comments

When you comment on a blog post we will collect your name and email address. Your name will be displayed but your email address will be confidential. After commenting on a website, personal data is also saved in browser cookies, so commenters don’t have to resubmit them next time. This makes commenting more convenient.

Making an enquiry

When you respond to an advert on Kent Index, the information you provide will be passed to the listings owner. This is to facilitate contact between you and the listing owner. It should go without saying that you should only share information that you wish to see passed along.
